Terms of service

Last updated November 2, 2026

Free and open source

Pelica is free software, released under the MIT license. You may use, copy, change and share it under that license.

No warranty

Pelica is provided "as is", without any warranty. The people who make Pelica are not liable for any damage or loss from using it, as the MIT license says in full.

AI answers can be wrong

The AI models you run in Pelica can make mistakes or produce harmful or inaccurate content. Check important answers yourself. You are responsible for what you do with the output, and for the commands and file changes you approve.

Models and other services

Models you download come with their own licenses, set by the people who made them. Services Pelica connects to for you (Google, Hugging Face, GitHub, search engines, connectors) have their own terms, which apply when you use them.

Using Pelica responsibly

Don't use Pelica to break the law or to harm other people.

Your data

How Pelica handles your data is described in the privacy policy.
